Solvay Schools Alumni owes its name to both Solvay schools: the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM, faculty of the ULB), and the Solvay Business School (SBS) (department of the faculty SBS-ES of the VUB).

Each of these schools has highly dynamic students' associations, who provide the Solvay Schools students with academic and extra-academic services and activities.

For professionals, Solvay Executive Education organizes a wide range of programs, in taxation, finance, management... you name it!

Finally, thanks to Solvay Entrepreneurs asbl, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs-to-be benefit from dedicated programs and support to start and grow their business.

Students Associations

The students of the SBS-EM (ULB) are gathered in two associations:

BE Solvay (Bureau Etudiants Solvay) provides essentially academic services: academic coordination, business game, career services, and so on.

Since 1904, Cercle Solvay is linked to the folklore of the campus; it's the biggest student's association in Belgium in terms of members.

On the VUB Campus, Solvay students also have two associations:

INISOL (for Initiatief Groep Solvay) provides students with practical experience and helps them building their network, among others through the organization of its annual trade mission.

Solvay Kring on the other hand is where the folklore is ensured, through many activities organized for the students on the campus.

Solvay students of Master years (MA1 & MA2) benefit from a free access to Solvay Schools Alumni.

You can request your free access to Solvay Schools Alumni and activate your profile here.

Solvay Fellowship VUB

The Solvay Fellowship VUB is a platform for academia and the world of society and business to meet, discuss challenges, exchange experiences, share good practice and to learn from each other, at the benefit of research and academic education.

The Fellows offer guest lectures on the basis of their expertise and competencies, give guidance on master's dissertations, provide research data, offer or support internships and/or in make available their networks for the acquisition of funds, chairs, or consulting services.

We are proud to see several Solvay Alumni taking part in the Fellowship and giving back to their Alma Mater.
